Director of "Groovetube Entertainment “, Derek Avia, has been performing, recording and teaching professionally for the past 25 years locally and internationally. Migrating from New Zealand in 1990 with just $20, he is relentless and determined to promote professional and quality live music. Along with his Music Degree from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Derek is also a renowned sportsman in the Australian Amateur Boxing Association arena winning the Heavyweight Championship Title.
